I recently joined Tamar Levine's photo blog where one photographer gives a creative assignment each month and the rest shoot it and comment on each others images. This month was "Film as inspiration." I worked with stylist/model Camille Rousseau again and we got Dane to model for us well after a run in at a party the night before the shoot. To see the still we used as inspiration and two other images from the shoot check out: www.thisisaphotoblog.com

Check out this video (filmed and edited by Craig Weaver) featuring my photos of Sara Bareilles' last performance with the Counting Crows on our recent east coast tour. If you can't sit through the entire 5 mins, skip to 3:30 when my photos start popping in.

Partners in Care had their annual golf classic Monday to raise money for their health care programs. It was a beautiful day and the USC Song Girls helped pump everybody up for the golf tournie, auction and "horse race" soon to follow. Wish I had won those Laker box seats. Slide show:
Tokyo Nonsense featured live art performances from drawing cool figures on a plastic tent to interactive electric currents and an artist slamming into a wall, painting and tearing off squares all in a message of unity and excitement for life. Needless to say, with the mix of music and alcohol to compliment it all it was an rewarding evening. Check the slide show:
I met Camille at a party I was shooting and we decided to team up for some cool photo shoots as photographer/writer/stylist. To simplify our first shoot Camille modeled as well. You can see more images here and look for more collaborations in the near future.
